Condition
- Healthy (self-declaration)
- Any dietary requirements communicated in advance
- Resilient to seasickness.
Competencies & Skills
- Able to swim
- Comfortable using a lifejacket and lifeline
- Able to steer a sailing boat while on watch
- Communicate in English.
Formalities
- Appropriate vaccinations
- Valid travel documents (ID/passport, Visa, International driver’s license)
- Valid insurances: health, travel (incl. sailing), and personal liability
- Vaccination booklet
Bring Your Own
- Foul weather gear, boots, snorkel set
- Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, uv-shirt
- Personal medication incl. Deet
- Recommended: flexible airline ticket, eSim-card.

First aid
There is a first aid kit on board. In case of an emergency, we can contact the Radio Medical Service in the Netherlands via Starlink. Please note that I am neither a doctor nor a pharmacist. So please consult your GP for personal advice before setting sail. And please bring your own medication, including the basics like Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Imodium.
